About me
Elizabeth Israel-Davis is a teacher with 24 years of experience in public elementary & middle schools as a classroom teacher, reading specialist, and TOSA. She is also an Orton-Gillingham Academy Associate level practitioner. Originally from Phoenix, AZ, she moved to Portland in 1992 to attend Lewis & Clark College and stayed, on purpose, because she likes the weather (and her spouse). She is more than happy to talk your ear off about the cognitive underpinnings of literacy but you can also easily distract her by asking about sci-fi/fantasy novels, tea, travel, or asking to see pictures of her mantids.
